OneBlock Rules

Oneblock follows all the same rules as EarthSMP.

Getting Started on OneBlock

When you join the OneBlock server you will always start in spawn and from here you can go to your island, visit other islands, visit the NPC's, or just explore. Getting started is as easy as running into the portal and spawning in on your own Oneblock Island. From there start mining and gaining resources while fighting mobs and trying to not fall into the infinite void below.

Your OneBlock Island

Once you spawn on your island, you will begin mining the only block in sight, the one you are standing on. Gain material to make your Island larger and loot every chest that appears for valuable resources. You will have to punch your way through until you can get enough basic resources to make tools.

Customize your Island

Each OneBlock Island has many customizable permissions available to you. You can live either as a hermit, become a hub of commerce, or be the entertainment destination. You get to choose. Using /ob settings you can choose what can and can not be done on your Island.

Growing your Island

Every block you mine will grant you more resources. The more you mine, the more you can gain and get closer to moving to a new phase for your oneblock. Each phase has resources you would find in that particular biome. You can also use /shop and purchase blocks as needed or create a generator out of lava and water to gain all the cobblestone you could need. Cobblestone Generators can also be improved with Premium Ranks.

Magic Cobble Generator

Magic Cobble Generator is a premium rank perk that allows for your cobblestone generator a higher chance to generate more ores. To access use /ob generators and use left click to select the premium generator you want active. You must be SkyGod, SkyHero, or SkyLegend to activate these generator perks. As a note: The owner of the island must be the one with the premium rank in order to activate premium generators.

Island Level

As you build and expand your OneBlock Island, you can check your level by using /ob level. This allows you to see how far you've come and to unlock some cool extras along the way.

Visitors

Your Island can play host to your fellow OneBlock players. Provide shops for players to buy resources, offer simple mini games, or be completely closed off and private. You can toggle your island's privacy in /ob settings and clicking on the key. You can visit other Islands by using /ob visit (player name) or /pw (warp name) for those with player warps.

Teamwork

You can add other players to your island and allow them to have different levels of permission as set by your Islands settings in /ob settings. You can chose to add them to your Island with /ob team invite (player name) which abandons their Island to join yours if they /ob team accept, or have them as a Co-op partner by using /ob team coop (player name) and they get to keep their Island and participate on yours.

Member Rank

Member Rank is where everyone starts out at. This is the rank you have if you do not win or purchase a premium rank. Members can play and do play with out any limit on the server. A premium rank is not needed to play on Valatic.

Premium Ranks

Premium Ranks are sold in our store and offer a bit extra to for players who want to help out. These purchases help support our server and will be carried over to the next season unless otherwise stated. Premium Ranks are not required and you can play OneBlock just fine with out them.

Minions

Minions are private, placeable NPCs that will help automate a task for you. Minions can be obtained by purchasing a Minion Key from the Valatic Store or from other players in game.

As a note: Seller Minions can only sell vanilla drops, they are not able to sell drops from our generators.

Spawners

We have a unique system for Spawners on Valatic. You can obtain spawners only from our crates. Every key from common crate keys to monthly crate keys has a chance to give you some spawners. Spawners will automatically be added to your /spawner gui. In your /spawner gui you can have your spawners auto sell or build up resources that you can extract for use later. Unfortunately, Bedrock players cannot withdraw items or XP at this time but you may sell your items with the auto selling feature. Collecting drops/experience is not compatible with our bedrock players at this time.

Generators

Generators automate farming certain items on our server which can then be sold using /selldrops or with sell wands. Generators only function while you are online.

Sell Wands

Valatic currently has 3 different types of sell wands that are obtainable through various ways on our server. Sell wands can ONLY sell drops from generators.

Generator Events

Generator events occur once every hour and last 1 - 3 minutes.

Sell Event	1 minutes	Doubles the sell price of generated drops.
Drop Event	2 minutes	Doubles the dropped items from generators.
Speed Event	2 minutes	Reduces the time it takes items to drop from generators by 50%.
+1 Tier Event	3 minutes	Generators produce items from the next upgrade tier for a limited time instead of their normal drops.

Corrupted Generators

All placed generators have a 10% chance to break every hour, this will corrupt the generator requiring repair (costing 5% of it's total purchase price). To repair the generator click on it to open the gui and pay the required amount to repair it.
