Disputing a payment or charging back to Valatic will result in a permanent ban from our server. There is no way to get unbanned for this, if you have an issue with your purchase please reach out to us on our support discord. We are always here to help!
All community members are encouraged to respect all players, and of course our staff team members. Do not intentionally get in the way of staff members working or disrupt them in any way shape or form. Also, you cannot falsely report innocent players if you know they did not do anything wrong. You cannot make allegations against someone who is not guilty.
Punishment Evasion
Using any alternative method to connect to our Minecraft server or Discord when punished is considered punishment evasion. Using a VPN or proxy is never allowed.

Using an alternative account to connect to our server or discord when your account is banned.
Using signs in game to communicate when you are muted.
Using a VPN or Proxy to connect to the server when you are banned.
Joining our discord server to chat with another account when your account is muted or timed out.
Exploits and Bug Abuse
Using exploits or abusing bugs to serve as an advantage on your end is not allowed. It is your responsibility to report any exploits found, not doing so can result in punishment.

Gameplay Guidelines
Unfair Advantages
Spoiling the gameplay of others by using methods that would give you an unfair advantage is against the rules. If you are found to be guilty of this it will result in punishment.
EXAMPLES OF WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED
Using a hacked or modded client to give you an unfair advantage over other members.
Using xray or similar mods to find ores or other players bases.
Using autoclicker, macros, scripting, drag clicking, or altering your mouse in any way to increase your CPS or afk farm.
Using hacks, exploits, or abusing unintended game mechanics to dupe or give yourself an unfair advantage.
Hacked Client or Modifications
We do not allow the use of hacked clients or third party modifications that tamper with system files. Any use of mods like these may cause your game to not function as originally intended and result in an unfair advantage regardless of your intentions.
EXAMPLES OF WHAT IS ALLOWED
Client performance improvement modifications like Optifine that improve FPS (frames per second) without making changes to the game itself.
Brightness & Gamma Modifiers
Cosmetic and HUD (Head-Up Display) Modifiers that change the look of your game without giving you an unfair advantage. NOTE:(Mini-maps, other player health/armor indicators, player distance/range, etc. are not permitted)
Shaders that change only the look of the game without giving you an unfair advantage such as making non-transparent blocks transparent or allowing you to see through objects you normally could not.
Gameplay recorders that allow for recording and playback of gameplay.
Badlion Client, Lunar Client, etc. provided they do not include modifications that give you an unfair advantage or are strictly prohibited on our server by themselves. Use of these clients is at your own risk and it is your responsibility to make sure all mods are allowed on our server
EarthSMP & Oneblock/Gens Specific Rules
In order to assure a safe and friendly community scamming, griefing, stealing, and cheating is not allowed on our server unless the specified game mode allows it.
EXAMPLES OF WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED
Faking authentic items to make them look real.
Griefing other players by destroying their builds or lava-casting.
Killing players who have PvP toggled off.
TP/PW trapping.
Claiming land within close proximity of someone else's claimed area with an intent to claim block or grief.
Setting homes or warps within another players build or claim without permission.
Stealing in-game currency or items from other players bases in game modes where is it not specifically allowed.
Building or creating anything that is inappropriate.
Glitching into restricted areas such as outside the map border.
Prison & The Pit Specific Rules
On our competitive games game modes such as Prison you can find exceptions to our game play guidelines at spawn. The following are rules that are allowed ONLY on Prison or Competitive PVP game modes. All other game play guidelines or chat rules still apply.

Impersonation
You are not permitted to impersonate other players, public figures, or staff.

Pretending to be a youtuber or some other social media influencer.
Pretending to be a celebrity or public figure.
Pretending to be Valatic staff.
Impersonating any of the above and sharing misleading information.
Real World Trading
Trading with real-world money or items for in game goods is prohibited.

Selling in-game items such as kits, keys, or cosmetic things for any real world money.
Selling in-game ranks for any real world money.
Selling in-game items or ranks in exchange for real world products, services, or items.
Selling or sharing your Minecraft account with another player in exchange for real world money.
Farms
Massive farms in any form on our servers is not allowed. If we detect your farm is causing any client side (FPS) or server side (TPS) lag we will remove your farm. This rule also applies to any excessive entities such as mobs, item-frames, chests, spawners, and so on. Redstone is also limited on our server.
Chat Guidelines
Threats
Threatening other players or staff members is not allowed.

Threatening to or actively doxing.
DDOSing or threatening to DDOS someone.
Threatening to share personal information such as someone's IP address or blackmail someone.
Threatening to send malicious links.
Threatening to stalk or physically harm someone.
Chat Spamming
Spamming our chat to disrupt the game play of others is not allowed.

Repeating the same message over and over again.
Spamming characters or emojis to flood the chat.
Using excessive caps repeatedly.
Inappropriate Usernames and Discussions
Valatic is a family friendly server, inappropriate discussions in chat are not allowed.

Discussing explicit topics such as anything sexual, related to suicide/self harm, promoting drugs, profanity, racism/hate speech, etc.

Discussing politics or any controversial issues in public chat.
Bypassing the chat filter in any way.
Creating or building anything that is indecent in game and discussing it in chat.
Renaming items in game with inappropriate names.
Having a Minecraft username or nickname that bypasses the chat filter or is inappropriate based on the above guidelines.
Wearing a skin that is inappropriate.
Encouraging Rule Breaking
Encouraging other players to break the rules is not allowed.

Promoting anything not related to Valatic inside of our Minecraft server or Discord
server is prohibited.

Sharing third-party websites or giveaways.
Promoting your social media platform unless it is Valatic related.
Toxicity
Be respectful! We have a zero tolerance for toxicity and harassment as we want to keep our community a friendly place. Please do not disrupt the gaming experience of other players by harassing them. Please respect our staff, they work hard to keep Valatic safe, fun, and fair for all! While we understand that trash talk is to be expected in any gaming community please keep in mind the difference between the two; trash talk refers to the playful exchange of banter or boasting centered on the current game, fostering a competitive yet light atmosphere. In contrast, harassment encompasses any adverse conduct that is targeted, disruptive, or has the potential to make an individual feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

Harassing other players by trolling them, being annoying, causing trouble, or repeatedly sending teleport requests.
Calling someone names, threating to DDOS or harm them.

Harassment that involves threats, intimidation, or personal insults related to various sensitive aspects such as sexual orientation, age, appearance, gender, religion, cultural beliefs, ethnicity, race, disability, etc.
Personal Information
Protecting your personal information is important for your safety, please do not leak your own personal information or someone else's. Each player is responsible for their own accounts safety and actions.

Sharing your full name, where you live, your age, where you go to school, contact information or anything similar.
Sharing someone else's full name, where they live, IP address, or any other private information they might not want shared.
Account sharing is not recommended, for the safety of your account do not share your email or password with anyone! YOU are responsible for any actions someone else takes while on your account.
Begging
We ask that you be respectful of other players and staff by not begging for items or other things.

Begging players for items or in-game currency.
Begging staff to give you perks, items, in-game currency, or add you to our staff team.
